Welcome to our website

The Blackdown Social Group is a social group for gay men in Devon, South & West Somerset and West Dorset. We usually meet for a drink and a chat on the first Saturday of each month in different parts of the area and from time to time members organise other activities such as walking, dining or cinema visits. The group has some 70 members at present, covering a wide age range. Although we started in the Blackdown Hills area of East Devon and South Somerset, there are now members from a much wider area, from Torbay and Exeter in the west to Lyme Regis and Bridgwater in the east.
